More than just a coffee farm, Peñas Blancas is a social project dedicated to improving working conditions and supporting the development of local coffee producers.
 
By providing access to modern infrastructure, technical training, and centralized quality control, the project enables farmers to achieve higher specialty coffee standards while gaining more stable access to international markets.
 
The project is led by Nestor Lasso and Johan Vergara, two renowned coffee professionals from Huila recognized for their expertise in experimental processing, post-harvest innovation, and farmer education. Under their leadership, Peñas Blancas has become an important hub for specialty coffee innovation, transparent collaboration, and community development in the region.
 
We highly recommend it for brews, where the sweetness of the fruits and the smooth texture stand out like a v60 pour over. However, if you like a lighter and fruity espresso, you might be pleasantly surprised with these beans.
